torrent to imported conversion is actually related to uTorrent for Mac and relates to attempt to change a torrent for windows (.torrent) to a torrent file for the mac version (.imported). It does not make much sense to convert .torrent files to .imported files in first place, considering both store torrent data. If you have to, just add .imported suffix to the original, .torrent file and that's it.
