It looks like that many users looking for a way to convert Scratch projects 2.0 (.sb2) to Scratch projects 1.4 (.sb) prefer to use the Retro Converter conversion utility as the original Scratch program does not posses the capability to produce older version of projects in the latest versions of the program. It is not perfect but should be more than enough for some basic conversion.
