Adobe PageMaker does not support import of PDF files by default. However, you can download a special plugin - PDF Import Filter 1.0 - from Adobe website that will allow you to import single pages from PDFs to Adobe PageMaker. Should work with version 6.5 or later. Without a proper version of PageMaker it will be very hard, if not impossible to reliably produce a .pmd document.
The database currently does not contain any pdf file converter.
