These are both Nick-O-Matic Design Factory project files. NPF files store exported phonebooks, or can be used as backup files. NBK files, on the other hand, store design projects generated by the Nick-O-Matic Design Factory app.
Simply use the 'File - Save a...' function to save between several Nick-O-Matic Design Factory projects.
