If you want to successfully convert MIDI Files directly to TablEdit Tablatures (.mid to .tef conversion), you need to use the original software, as TEF is a proprietary file format.
As far as we know, your only options is using TablEdit, a music notation program, which allows you to convert MID files to TEF musical tablature format.
We are not aware of any third-party utility allowing users to convert MID to TEF.
