Although it should be possible to import previous versions of Guitar Pro projects (such as .gp4) to the latest version of the program, it is unlikely that you can create previously used formats because the latest versions of Guitar Pro projects (.gpx) are not backwards compatible. This unfortunately means that direct gpx to gp4 conversion is most likely not possible.
Simply put, it is impossible to convert GPX to GP4 directly.
Thus, there is no so-called gpx to gp4 converter or a free online .gpx to .gp4 conversion tool.
