Convert FLM to FLP

Converting an FLM (FL Studio Mobile project file) to an FLP (FL Studio Desktop project file) can be helpful for producers who want to transfer their mobile creations to the full desktop version of FL Studio for advanced editing and mixing. While there isn't a direct conversion tool, the process can be achieved through exporting and importing the project files. Here’s a simple guide to help you.

1. Export the FLM project

Open your FL Studio Mobile app and load the FLM project you want to convert. Once it’s open, go to the export options (usually found under the file menu). Select "Export as ZIP" and include all media files, such as audio samples and MIDI patterns. This zip file will contain all the necessary components of your project.

2. Transfer the ZIP file

Once the export is complete, transfer the zip file to your computer. Depending on your preference, you can do this via email, cloud storage, or a USB connection.

3. Import into FL Studio Desktop

Open FL Studio on your computer, then use the "File" menu to open the zip file. FL Studio will automatically extract the contents and load the project. It will now appear as an FLP project file, allowing you to continue editing in the desktop environment.
