You can produce OpenDocument drawings (.odg) from many graphics sources, including vector 2D CAD drawings (.dxf). The most convenient way would be to download OpenOffice.org productivity bundle and do the conversion yourself using the Draw program, but other OpenDocument based tools may also be of use here.
