It is not feasible to directly convert Audio Video Interleave files to VLC Playlists (.avi to .vlc conversion). However, it is possible to add an AVI video to a new/existing VLC Media Player playlist, and thus create a VLC file as a result.
Such conversion is therefore unnecessary, since the VLC Media Player supports a wide range of media formats, including AVI, and also includes a built-in conversion tool, available through the 'Media -> Convert/Save as' function.
Simply put, it is impossible to convert AVI to VLC directly.
Thus, there is no so-called avi to vlc converter or a free online .avi to .vlc conversion tool.
