Unfortunately, it is not feasible to directly convert Audio Video Interleave files to SubRip Subtitle files (.avi to .srt conversion). You can see how it could be difficult to convert a multimedia file to a format suitable for subtitle storage.
In reality, the AVI file type is a container format that might include real subtitle data. If that were the case, you could use any software developed for editing videos capable of extracting the subtitles.
However, we are not aware of any video editor or conversion tool that can directly convert AVI to SRT.
Simply put, it is impossible to convert AVI to SRT directly.
Thus, there is no so-called avi to srt converter or a free online .avi to .srt conversion tool.
