Convert AI to JEF

Embroidery designs can be created from both vector and raster sources, although vectors are much more preferred way of making new designs. However, most embroidery programs have problems with importing specialized proprietary vector formats, such as AI from Adobe Illustrator or CDR from CorelDraw.

Safest option is to use some generic exchange format that is supported in your embroidery tool, or look for some plugins that may add support fo particular file types.
