There don't seem to be many options for converting ATRAC Audio Files directly to Free Lossless Audio Files (.aa3 to .flac conversion). It should, however, be possible.
As far as we know, your best bet is using Sound Forge Pro, a digital audio editing software that allows users to import AA3 audio files and export them in FLAC format.
